CHANGES
Well gang, it looks like this will be my last update to the website. If you haven't heard by now our family is
pulling up stakes and moving to Florida. I'll be heading back to college, and this will be my last week as den leader.
I've really enjoyed the past several months, getting to know your boys and working with them. I can honestly say serving
as your den leader has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I will treasure it always. Matthew
has really enjoyed being a Tiger Cub with all of you, and we hope to find another den to get involved with soon.
I don't know what the future holds for the Tigers of Pack 42, but I pray that it will be bright and exciting. Change
doesn't always have to be bad, and even though we won't be around to experience it first hand, it is our sincerest desire
that each of you Tiger Cubs continue to grow into honest, intelligent, well rounded young men. I hope you all have enjoyed
the past several months as much as Matthew and I have, and I hope your Scouting adventures continue to soar. You are
a great bunch of boys, and I wish you all the best.
To all of you parents and grandparents who have shared your boys with us over the past several months, thank you.
Your Scout's continued success can be directly attributed to having such positive role models in their lives. Your love,
support, and leadership is what continues to guide them along the journey from boy to man. I will always be grateful
for the support you gave our den, and I encourage you to "keep on keeping on."
Before I go, let me remind you that we have one last meeting together, tonight at 6:00. After this week I don't
know what kind of schedule you'll keep, but Matthew and I are looking forward to one last night as members of Pack 42.
We'll have a special guest that I know you'll all enjoy, so be sure to come out for a great evening together.
